Privacy Policy
Updated 2026-10-15 · SS DISHWASHERHELP INC.
Scope and responsibility
SS DISHWASHERHELP INC. operates dishwasherhelp.com. This policy addresses information used for business accounts, worker accounts, staffing requests and support. Privacy enquiries may be sent to dishwasherhelp@gmail.com, marked “Privacy”, or to our contact address. We handle requests under the privacy laws applicable to the activity and location concerned.
Information and purposes
Account forms request contact details, location, profile information and login credentials. Worker onboarding may request identity, work-eligibility and payment information. Booking records include shift details, applications, reported hours, charges, credits and correspondence. Technical systems may process IP addresses, device/browser details, cookies and access logs. These records support account administration, shift coordination, payment processing, fraud prevention, safety, support and legal obligations. We must explain the purpose of sensitive-document collection when requesting it. A SIN is not a general account identifier; any collection requires a specific lawful purpose.
Sharing and service providers
Information necessary to arrange a shift may be shared with the relevant business or worker. Hosting, email, anti-abuse and payment providers process information for their services. Stripe is integrated into the payment flow; its own privacy notice also applies to its processing. Identity documents, SINs and bank details must not be included in public profiles or ordinary shift listings. Disclosures required or permitted by law remain subject to applicable requirements.
Choices, retention and protection
Optional marketing consent is separate from essential service communications. You may request access, correction or withdrawal of consent, subject to legal exceptions. Withdrawal may limit services requiring that information. Records should be retained only for identified operational, accounting, employment, dispute or legal purposes, then securely deleted or anonymised. Hosting and providers may process data outside your province or Canada; applicable assessment and protection requirements must be addressed. No system is risk-free. Contact us about suspected misuse or a privacy complaint.
Updates
Material changes should be explained before new uses requiring consent. See Privacy Requests for how to exercise your rights and Cookie Policy for browser technologies.
Sensitive records and further uses
Identity, work-eligibility, tax and banking records need distinct purposes and appropriate access restrictions. Ask whether a less intrusive alternative is available. A document upload does not authorise unrelated background checks, facial recognition or disclosure to every business. Any separate check should explain the purpose, provider, consequences and required consent. No exclusively automated hiring or eligibility process is represented as operating merely because the website has matching features. Future automated decisions require their own lawful disclosures and review process.
Accountability and incidents
Privacy requests should be assessed within applicable legal time limits. Suspected breaches require investigation and legally required reporting where applicable. A retention schedule must distinguish operational records, payroll/tax records and sensitive verification documents. See the separate Retention and Document Verification policies. A policy describes required practice; it does not certify that a security audit has passed.
